MALOLOS CITY – Still reeling from the impact of floods caused by the recent southwest monsoon and weather disturbances, some 600 households in Barangay Mojon here gratefully welcomed relief from Eco Protect Management Corp.
Eco Protect president and CEO Alainne Tan herself led the distribution of relief packs containing food and essential items, which include canned goods, noodles, rice, coffee and other basic supplies.
Another 600 families in Barangay Gugo, Calumpit town also received similar relief packs from Eco Protect with Calumpit Mayor Glorime “Lem” Faustino present to show support and oversee the distribution.
“We want to help the affected families during this difficult time. It’s important for us to do what we can to assist in their recovery,” said Tan, noting that the company will expand its relief efforts to other areas affected by the floods.
