Parents of Early Childhood Care and Development Center (ECCD) beneficiaries from different barangays of the City of San Fernando showcased their cooking expertise during the first-ever “ECCD Cooking Fest” on July 31, 2019 in Barangay Sindalan.
The fest was initiated by the City Social Welfare and Development Office in line with this year’s celebration of Nutrition Month.
Themed “Kumain ng WASTO at maging AKTIBO, PUSH NATIN ‘TO!”, the Nutrition Month celebration seeks to promote proper nutrition among children and to address malnutrition cases.
Cooking masters from Barangay Maimpis bagged the 1st place, followed by Barangay Del Carmen (2nd place) and Barangay Dela Paz Sur (3rd place).
