SAMAL, Bataan- Children and parents not only availed themselves of easy and comfortable enrollment but received good advice from principals and head teachers of their respective schools during the Early Enrollment Program Saturday.

There was no overcrowding common during the regular enrollment a few days before regular classes start.

“Magpakabait kayo at magpakabuti sa pag-aaral,” high school Head Teacher Evelyn Canare told early enrollees in First Year at the Samal National High School in the farming sitio of Bubuyog in Barangay Ibaba.

Canare, Principal Marujadela Rosa and Head Teacher Soledad Llarina took turns in interviewing the students as to their age, school they came from and their area of residence for record purposes.

“You try to participate in Brigada Eskwela on May before the actual opening of regular classes,” they told the students who were among 100 who enrolled earlier.

At the Samal South and North Elementary School, enrollees in Grade I came in groups. Grade I adviser Marly Carabeo said as of 2:00 p.m., she has so far enrolled 16 males and 10 females. She said she was expecting more before the school closed at 5:00 in the afternoon.

“Bring Birth Certificate,” proclaimed notices posted at the wall in the entrance of the schools. But children were listed as enrolled despite the absence of the certificates on the condition that parents submitted them on Monday or on the regular day of enrollment.
