FOR MAGSAYSAY, Palayan City — “More than adequate.” Health Sec. Francisco Duque III described on Wednesday the proposed quarantine for returning Filipinos from China at a portion of the mega Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DATRC) here.

Duque who visited the place ordered the physical preparation of the area which include provision for separate sides for men and women, isolation rooms, health station, and activity area.

He wanted to make sure that the comfort rooms were clean and ready in case the inter-agency task force finally decides to bring repatriates here.

Filipinos from China are expected to land at the Clark International Airport on Saturday and if the original plan is pursued, they will be transported here.

“It’s more than adequate except for some minor adjustments to make it really comfortable and to be really good for our soon to be repatriated compatriots,” Duque said.

Brig. Gen. Henry Robindons, assistant division commander of the Army’s 7th Infantry division, said each room at the ground floor will be provided with electric fans and air-conditioning units will be installed in upper rooms.

“Medyo mas mainit kasi dun,” Robinsons said of the second floor.
