DTI, TSU hold branding, packaging seminar for agrarian reform orgs

TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Tarlac State University (TSU) conducted a seminar on branding and packaging for members of Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organization (ARBOs).

This is part of the series of training lined up for ARBOs to expand their market through application of new technologies and techniques.

DTI Tarlac Trade-Industry Development Specialist Paolo Manese said it will give ARBOs awareness of the importance of branding and packaging as both influence consumer behavior, conveys brand messaging, and ultimately affect sales.

“The Branding and Packaging Seminar can serve as an essential learning activity for our assisted Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations and Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Entrepreneurs as it will help them provide a distinct name and image, as well as, efficient packaging for their products,” he said.

For their part, TSU discussed ways on how to create a successful branding specifically, creating impactful logos and taglines, effective color combinations, marketing strategies, and positioning products based on their target market.

Also, coaching session and lecture on the importance of precise packaging and error-free labels.

About 21 members of various ARBOs from the different municipalities joined the learning session. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
