TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) trained Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries in San Clemente, Tarlac.
Topics discussed include How to Start a Business, Consumer Awareness and Responsiveness, and the process of making siopao and siomai.
DTI OIC-Provincial Director Zaida Garibay noted the importance of training activities in encouraging potential entrepreneurs.
“The activity aims to encourage participants to consider entrepreneurship as their source of income, introduce products that are easy to produce, affordable, and salable, as well as educate them on consumerism,” she said.
Negosyo Center San Clemente Business Counselor Anthony Corpuz tackled the basics of entrepreneurship, business opportunities, and process of business registration, while Resource Speaker Arceli Oriondo demonstrated the process of making siopao and siomai.
Beneficiaries were identified by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
