Part of the celebration was a poster-making contest participated by 16 students from different schools in Zambales and Olongapo City.
Winners in the contest were: 1st Prize, Jamillyn Mila, Grade 12 student from New Cabalan National High School who received P3,000 and token gift; 2nd Prize, Acel Jules. Laborce, Grade 9 from Zambales National High School, receiving P2,000 and token; and 3rd Prize, James Leonard Raymundo, Grade 11 student from Botolan National High School, and Kristin Lentijos, Grade 10 from Sta. Cruz, Zambales JESMAG, both receiving P1,000 and tokens. The other participants received consolation prizes.
The 1st Prize winner will be participating in the regional poster-making contest on October 26 while on October 27, the Regional Reyna ng Palengke pageant will be held at Waltermart, City of San Fernando.
