SUBIC, Zambales – Operatives of the 315th Zambales Provincial Mobile Group (315th ZPMG) raided the house of a suspected big-time drug peddler, following the confiscation of guns, drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia in Barangay Calapacuan here, Friday dawn.
Reports reaching the office of Zambales Police Provincial Police Office (ZPPO) director, Senior Supt. Rolando Felix, identified the suspect as Romerick Alumno, 37, aka Erick Ilong, of No. 23 Mercurio St., Purok 3, Sitio Tahimik, Barangay Calapacuan.
The reports said that at about 4:30 a.m., a team led by Supt. Jerry Sumbad, 315th ZPMG director, raided the house of the suspect by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Raymond Viray, Olongapo City, RTC, Branch 75.
The raiding team recovered 17 pieces of plastic sachet containing shabu placed in a black coin purse; two grams of marijuana; one caliber .22 pistol; one caliber .38 pistol; five live ammo for caliber .22; two transaction notebooks; P750 in different denominations and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The report added that the suspect was in the drug watch list of the Zambales PNP. He is now in the custody of 315th ZPMG, facing charges for violation of RA 9165 and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
