LIMAY, Bataan — Police arrested a suspected drug peddler and confiscated shabu worth P177,820 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Reformista here Saturday, Feb. 3.
Limay police chief Major Dennis Duran reported to Bataan police director Col. Palmer Tria that confiscated from the suspect were two sachets of suspected shabu weighing 26.15 grams and the marked money.
The successful buy-bust operation was conducted by personnel of the Limay municipal police station together with the provincial drug enforcement unit and the 2nd Bataan police mobile force company
Duran said the suspect faces charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Tria commended the operating team for their diligent work in combating the drug trade in the province.
“This arrest is a significant blow to the drug network, and it sends a strong message that drug peddling will not be tolerated in Bataan. Together, we can help create a drug-free environment for our community,” the PD said.
