SUBIC, Zambales — Nine drug suspects were arrested joint elements of PDEA and
Zambales PNP in a buy-bust operation that led to the dismantling of a drug den at
Purok 5, Sta. Elena Subdivision, Barangay Calapacuan here on Sunday.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Jessie Jalil, 60; Udden Muhammad y
Latip, 34; Kevin Hussain, 22; Antonette Villarosa y Lambden, 51; Aida Ampatue y
Lanza, 50; Ahaddi Calvi y Rastela, 42; Nurjan Wali y Balani, 21; Romeo Isaias y
Flores, 59; and Ma. Victoria Muñoz y Echaus, 35.
Confiscated from the suspects were 11 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic
sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12.9 grams with estimated value of P90,000,
one black coin purse, one blue lighter, one green lighter with rolled aluminum,
two aluminum strips with residue of shabu, two rolled aluminum, and the P500
buy-bust money.
Suspects now face charges for violations of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15 of
Article II of RA 9165.
