Drug den dismantled, 6 arrested, P100-K shabu seized

IBA, Zambales – Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Zambales police dismantled a drug den and arrested six drug watch-listed individuals in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Castillejos town Tuesday evening.

A report to Zambales police director Col. Romano Velayo Cardiño identified those arrested as Pablo Viloria y Valdez, 54, the alleged drug den maintainer, of Purok 5, Barangay San Pablo, Castillejos; Jeffrey Mayo y Ladrillo, 38, of Purok 5B, San Pablo, Castillejos; Lorena Boringot y Laureto, 58. of Purok 1, Libas, New Cabalan, Olongapo City; Arnold Arlantico y Antipolo, 38, of San Pablo, Castillejos; Randolf Gabriel y De Guzman, 34, of Barretto, Olongapo City; and Wilmer Custodio y Carmina, 49, of Old Cabalan, Olongapo City.

Seized from the suspects were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing about 15 grams valued at P100,200, assorted drug paraphernalia, and thew P500 bill marked money.

The suspects now face charges for various violations of RA 9165.

Cardiño commended the operatives of the Castillejos police, the intelligence and drug enforcement units of the Zambales PNP, and the PDEA for “another successful operation in the fight against illegal drugs in the province.”
