SUBIC, Zambales — Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Subic Municipal Police Station dismantled a makeshift drug den that led to the arrest of four drug suspects and seizure of shabu in a buy-bust operation at Purok 3, Barangay Manga-Vaca here dawn of Sept. 13.
PDEA Zambales Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects as Deinnielle Henry Bascara y Macedo, 36, of Barangay Mangan-Vaca, the suspected drug den maintainer; Leslie Docil y Gatona, 42, of Purok 2, Ibayo, Mangan-Vaca; Darrel Castillo y Layon, 29, of Barangay Barretto, Olongapo City; and Rijam Hiwari y Salaman, 28, of Purok 6B, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic.
Police recovered approximately 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are temporarily detained at PDEA Regional Office III Jail Facility, while the confiscated illegal substances will be submitted to the PDEA laboratory for forensic examination. Photo: PDEA Zambales
