Drug den dismantled, 10 arrested

SUBIC, Zambales –– Ten drug personalities were arrested following the dismantling of drug den at Purok 6B, Barangay Calapacuan here Thursday morning.

Reports said the drug sting operation was conducted by the combined elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zambales, PDEA K9/Special Intelligence Unit-SBMA, Zambales Police Provincial Office, provincial drug enforcement unit/provincial intelligence unit of the Zambales Police Provincial Office, Subic Municipal Police Station, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group units of Zambalesand Olongapo, Zambales Maritime Police Station, Zambales Coast Guard, 305th Manuever Company, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.

PDEA-3 regional director Christian O. Frivaldo identified the suspects as
Jordana Rivera Inuk, 33, and Melvin Araneta Tigbe, 33, both online sellers and the alleged maintainers of the drug den; Abdulgani Salaman Lamani, 46, security personnel; Ajirya Saral Ibnohari, 49, store vendor; Roger Salaman Lamani, 33, unemployed; Jainal Ibnuhali Jilin, 28; Benny Isnani, 40, fisherman; Robert Nali, 35, store owner; and Jeff Pussan, 57, fisherman, all residents of Purok 6B, Calapacuan; and Raymond Dionisio Echague, 29, of Sitio Matangib, Cawag, Subic.

Seized from the suspects were nine heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances suspected to be a shabu weighing about 15 grams with an estimated street value of P120,000assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

All suspects now face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
