Angeles City – Partido Abe Kapampangan’s candidate for Councilor, Jose Aubrey Pelayo IV, the youngest son of Kapampangan leader, the late Dr. Jose Pelayo, Sr. who is running for the first time is reportedly getting high praises by his constituents from his beloved city.
Pelayo is the president of Metro Angeles City Journalists Association, Incorporated and the president of Pampanga-Tarlac Energy Press Corps.
“I want to continue the legacy of my father, Dr. Jose Pelayo, who was once a cabinet member of President Diosdado Macapagal and also a Vice Mayor in Angeles,” Pelayo said.
Pelayo recently got the support from Angeles City FEDTODA and the Solo Parents Alliance for Community Empowerment.
“I am thankful for the organizations who expressed their endorsement on my candidacy as councilor. I will not let them down,” Pelayo furthered.
The former ABS-CBN TV and radio reporter’s platforms of government include providing additional scholars of Angeles City with transportation and food allowance, attempt to make roads safer by giving free safety riding training for new motorcycle riders, and allowing to have more beneficiaries of social pension of senior citizens.
“My father’s birthday is March 23. My number in ballot is 23. I hope this number will be lucky for me,” Pelayo added.
