The three gentlemen also known as “DR.J”, re-electionists and aspirant for board members from the local Kambilan Party who put together their initials respectively, led the awarding of scholarship grants to students from the 4th district of Pampanga for their scholarship benefits from the provincial government.
Rosve said that the financial grants for the students would help them finish their studies and subsequently gain a more stable and high paying job in the future.
He was emotional during his brief speech when he reminisced about the time they couldn’t afford his education and that he was also a scholar.
“Pasensya na po kung medyo naging emosyonal ako sa aking pagsasalita dahil ang mga scholars po ay may malapit na parte sa aking puso. Dati rin po akong scholar. Kaya po ako nakapagtapos at nakapag inhinyero dahil po sa pagiging scholar”, said Rosve.
“DR J” believed that scholars of the provincial government have brighter future ahead of them and will also benefit the provincial’s progress and growth.
“DR J” also seeks to support the youth through prioritizing their studies to help alleviate their life condition.
An amount of P500,000 was allotted for the distribution of financial assistance to students who were given P2,500 each.
Personnel from the Provincial Treasurer’s Office led by Acting Provincial Treasurer Susan Luna assisted in the distribution of financial grants.
Dinan said the provincial government will continue delivering financial assistance as Governor Pineda is bent to provide basic social services and quality education to the indigenous people in the hope that they could create potential leaders in the future.
