TARLAC CITY (PIA) — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has repaired a total of four classrooms at Toledo Integrated School in Ramos, Tarlac
The P2.62-million project was funded under the 2023 Basic Education Facilities Fund of the Department of Education.
Tarlac 1st District Engineer Neil Farala emphasized that the project showcases the steadfast commitment of DPWH to improve the learning experience of students through modern educational facilities, classrooms and buildings.
“By repairing these classrooms, we are not just fixing structures. We are investing in the future of our students at Toledo Integrated School,” he said.
The newly-repaired classrooms are equipped with modern amenities such as blackboards, ceiling fans, restrooms, and fire safety devices.
Meanwhile, Teacher Maribel Melegrito assured that the project will bring a positive and huge change in the learning experience of students.
“This is a great opportunity for the community, especially for children and the next generations,” Melegrito said.
