BALER, Aurora (PIA) — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has inaugurated the Dingalan Convention Center in Aurora, marking a major milestone in the municipality’s efforts to achieve sustainable growth and community development.
This initiative fulfills President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s 2024 State of the Nation Address promise to strengthen infrastructure that supports tourism and drives local economic development across the regions.

Constructed in three phases, the project included site excavation, foundation works, site development, and interior finishing, aimed at reinforcing Dingalan’s potential as a venue for local events and a catalyst for increased tourism and economic activity.
“This facility can now accommodate large gatherings for events, exhibitions, and community functions that will attract visitors and create more opportunities for local businesses,” DPWH Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said.
With the completion of the convention center, Dingalan is expected to further establish itself as a rising destination in the province, supporting its long-term vision of inclusive and sustainable progress. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Aurora)
