BALER, Aurora (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) inaugurated a multipurpose building at barangay San Juan in Maria Aurora, Aurora.
The P7.8-million infrastructure is located within the compound of Canili Area National High School (CANHS).
DPWH Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said the facility will now provide CANHS students with a spacious area for conducting school activities as it is equipped with a stage and a comfort room.
“We have also installed 14 200W LED to provide adequate lighting in case it is used at night,” Andal added.
The school gym can also be turned into a barangay evacuation center if needed.
The formal turnover was attended by Aurora Lone District Representative Rommel Angara and Mayor Ariel Bitong. (CLJD-PIA 3)
