TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed paving a section of a local road at barangay Pag-asa in Rizal, Nueva Ecija.
It was implemented by the DPWH Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office.
OIC-District Engineer Osias Santos said the 0.245-kilometer infrastructure aimed to replace the worn-out portion that had been causing inconvenience to both residents and motorists using the road.
The project will bring substantial benefits to the public.

“It establishes vital connections to nearby schools, churches, market centers, and other essential establishments, improving accessibility and transportation convenience for everyone,” Santos furthered.
The P4.7-million road project was funded through the 2023 General Appropriations Act, under the agency’s Convergence and Special Support Program. (CLJD-PIA 3)
