BALANGA CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the upgrade of the 235-linear meter section of Jose Abad Santos Avenue (JASA) in Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The P6.6 million road reconstruction project was implemented by DPWH Bataan 1st District Engineering Office.
District Engineer Erlindo Flores Jr. said motorists complaining about the poor condition of the road will now experience a smoother ride.
DPWH is keen to provide a more comfortable and safer journey to commuters passing through JASA.
“The road network is the main road that connects the provinces of Bataan and Zambales. Hence, its completion will also benefit travelers going to various tourism destinations in the western part of Central Luzon,” he added.
The project includes replacement of damaged pavements and installation of road safety features such as thermoplastic pavement markings. (CLJD-PIA 3)
