“It also serves as a vital transport route for local farmers in barangay Lipit, facilitating the movement of coconuts, fruits, and other agricultural crops to various markets, while also enhancing accessibility to the area’s resorts, thus promoting tourism in the province,” he added.

The project, which spans a total length of 1.4917 lane kilometers, was funded under the 2023 national budget.

It included the construction of a reinforced concrete box culvert with slope protection, serving as a crucial drainage structure to manage water runoff, ensuring road stability and preventing erosion or damage caused by water flow, particularly during heavy rainfall or in flood-prone areas.

The completion of the infrastructure signifies a significant step toward improving the overall quality of life for the residents and showcases the government’s dedication to promoting local tourism and agricultural development. (CLJD-PIA 3)
