ORANI, Bataan (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the construction of a new concrete road in Hermosa, Bataan.
The 510.00-linear meter structure is located in barangay Sumalo.
DPWH Bataan 1st District Engineer Erlindo Flores Jr. said the new concrete road seeks to provide residents with a safer and more efficient route.
Previously, residents had to endure a rough and uneven journey to reach their destinations, but with this new road, their travel experience has been transformed into a secure and accessible route for the community.

“The development of this P4.49-million infrastructure is essential in unlocking the maximum potential of our rural communities and exemplifies our dedication in enhancing the livelihood of Bataeños,” Flores emphasized.
The project provides a streamlined and accessible route, enabling faster emergency response, particularly in critical medical situations.
It was implemented under the DPWH Basic Infrastructure Program and funded through the 2023 national budget. (CLJD-PIA 3)
