TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a two-storey multipurpose building in Moncada, Tarlac.
The P5.85-million infrastructure at barangay Santa Monica has a total area of 192.19 square meters.
DPWH Tarlac 1st District Engineer Neil Farala said the facility will serve both as a day care center and an office for Senior Citizens.
“This facility is also equipped with a wheelchair ramp, allowing individuals and senior citizens in the community with mobility concerns to easily access it,” Farala added.
Meanwhile, Barangay Captain Bernadine Ferrer emphasized the significance of the new multipurpose building in their community.
The project was under DPWH’s Basic Infrastructure Program funded through the General Appropriations Act of 2023.
It was implemented to assist the community in supporting improved social services for stakeholders. (MJSC/CLJD-PIA 3)
