TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed two school buildings in the province of Tarlac.
These are located at Armenia Integrated School in Tarlac City and Camiling Science High School in Camiling town.
DPWH Tarlac 1st District Engineer Neil Farala said the one-storey, two-classroom building at Armenia Integrated School has a floor area of 171 square meters.
“The P6.4-million building stands as a demonstration to the national government’s commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure for educational institutions,” he pressed.
It is equipped with amenities such as a wheelchair ramp, solar lights, a wash station, blackboards, and other features, facilitating effective teaching and learning while ensuring a seamless flow of activities within the building.
Meanwhile, the one-storey, three-classroom structure at Camiling Science High School has a total floor area of 262.42 square meters.
The P8.9-million building has individual rooms measuring 63 square meters each and wash areas on both sides.
Both projects were funded under the Basic Educational Financial from the 2023 National Budget in collaboration with the Department of Education. (MJSC/CLJD-PIA 3)
