ALL IN her desire to reinvent herself most especially as a TV talk show host, is the reason kung bakit nag-decide si Donita Rose na iwanan ang kanyang good paying job as a chef sa isang plush restaurant sa Las Vegas, Nevada. And, of course, ang iwanan din ang kanyang mag-amang sina Eric Villarama and son JP.
Prior to leaving the country, Donita was part of the roster of hosts ng daily program on ABS-CBN na Umagang Kay Ganda. Sa kanyang kasisimulang talk program with GMA-7, Basta Every Day Happy, aired daily din beforeThe Ryzza Mae Show, Donita’s co-hosts are Alessandra de Rossi, Gladys Reyes and Chef Boy Logro.
Since the show is partly a cooking show, feel ni Donita na she will enjoy it. At least nga naman, she’ll be able to display her acquired culinary talents with the audience.
Donita said na bago siya sumabak sa pagiging chef, she took up Culinary Arts at the Academy for International Culinary Arts (ATCA) dito sa Pilipinas.
But with the presence of Gladys at Alessandra, hindi lang basta cooking show ang programa. Pareho rin daw marunong magluto sina Gladys at Alessandra, hindi nga lang professionally. At this point in time, so to speak, Donita’s plan is to stay in the country for only the duration of the show.
Then, on second thought, baka magbago pa ang kanyang desisyon. Actually daw, depending on what her husband Eric will finally decide on. A computer expert, Eric, according to Donita, has a good paying job in Las Vegas.
