BALANGA CITY — The provincial government here on Tuesday thanked individuals and companies for continuously donating medical items for the protection of frontliners.
“Ang inyong mga donasyon ay hindi lamang malaking tulong kung hindi magbibigay din ng dagdag na lakas sa ating mga frontliners upang magpatuloy sa kanilang paglilingkod,” Gov. Albert Garcia said.
The new donors were DKR Trading, Baron Quezon, GSSMAX Construction, Friends of Gov. Abet, Bayanihan ng mga Bataenos, Quezon Furniture, and Ely de Guzman.
DKAR shared 100 KN95 masks while Baron Quezon gave 200 KN95 masks, 200 disposable personal protective equipment gowns, 15 thermal scanners, and 50 packs of antibacterial cleansing wipes.
GSSMAX donated 30 sets taffeta and 30 sets of PPE; Friends of Gov. Abet – 30 gallons of alcohol and 30 gallons of hand sanitizer; Bayanihan ng mga Bataenos – 65 taffeta suits, 85 polyester microfiber bunny suits; Quezon Furniture – 160 PPE and 48 boxes of corned tuna; and De Guzman – 152 PPEs.
The governor reported last Friday that San Miguel Foods gave 150 pieces of frozen chicken and 500 pieces of eggs to medical workers of the Mariveles District Hospital while donating eight gallons of disinfectant protect plus and eight cans of disinfectant protect plus gold to the provincial government.
The Capitol Employees of Bataan Multi-Purpose Cooperative handed 50 sets of PPE to the provincial health office and the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center. San Miguel Consolidated Power donated 500 ICU–grade PPEs and 5,000 face masks to the provincial government, Garcia said.
