CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has established a satellite office at the Clark Freeport where employment in 794 firms has soared to over 75,000.

DOLE Regional Director Ana Dione said the satellite office now operates at the second floor of the ambulatory center of the Medical City along Jose Abad Santos Avenue.

“We have more than 75,000 workers employed in 794 registered locators at Clark, so it is but timely and fitting to establish an office in this area in order to reduce the influx of clients visiting our Pampanga provincial and our regional field offices,” Dione said.

“This satellite office will also cater to clients working outside Clark, such as those employed in nearby cities of Angeles and Mabalacat,” she added.

Among the services being offered at the satellite office are labor and employment education and single entry approach,” she said.

Dione said “it can also receive reportorial requirements on Joint-Assessments under the Labor LawsCompliance System and evaluation on Construction Safety and Health Program.”

The satellite office is headed by senior labor and employment officer Antonio Sicat Jr. and is directly under the supervision of the regional DOLE Technical Support and Services Division for Labor Relations and Labor Standards.
