CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga (PIA) — Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) recognized eight best performing Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs) in Central Luzon.
Recipients include Bataan (1st Place, 1st Class Province category); Nueva Ecija (2nd place, 1st Class Province category); Aurora (1st Place, 3rd to 5th Class Province category); Tarlac City (1st place, Component City category); City of San Jose Del Monte (2nd place, Component City category); Talavera, Nueva Ecija (1st place, 1st Class Municipality category); Baliwag, Bulacan (2nd place, 1st Class Municipality category); and Llanera, Nueva Ecija (1st Place, 4th-6th class municipality category).
DOLE Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio thanked all PESOs in Central Luzon for being instrumental in the implementation of the agency’s employment programs.
“We are really grateful to all PESOs for helping us in the realization of our vision. Your efforts and accomplishments are never unseen,” she emphasized.
Panlilio also shared some of the changes to look forward to in some employment facilitation programs and other convergence programs where PESOs will be tapped.
These include Technical Advisory Visits that primarily focus on the compliance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and the revised implementing guidelines of DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program.
The winning PESOs went “above and beyond” in being partners with the agency in the implementation of its programs.
Top finishers will be the region’s official entries in the national search. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
