ANGELES CITY — DM Prime Holdings Corporation through its corporate social responsibility arm Del Magnificos initiated a donation drive for the victims of typhoon Ulysses in Montalban, Rizal on December 13.

The donation drive dubbed “Bangon Rizal!” is part of DM Prime’s strong corporate social responsibility in conjunction with its annual Christmas gift giving spearheaded by its chair and CEO Jeffrey Del Mundo together with Tau Gamma Phi Rizal Provincial Council led by governor-general Kevin Martinez.

According to DM Prime general manager Steve Jay dela Cruz, the donation drive is meant to help families in Rizal as it was one of the most severely affected areas by the typhoon.

“DM Prime has been really active in helping out during crises like this. We also wanted to help those who were severely affected by typhoon Ulysses that’s why we reached out to our fraternity brothers in Rizal apart from the ones we helped in Pampanga,” said dela Cruz.

The Del Magnificos, donned in their Money Heist costumes and Salvador Dali masks, distributed food packs with grocery items, sanitation kit, and face masks to 200 families from barangay San Jose in Montalban.

“Since we have started donating here (Pampanga) during the height of the lockdown with our Money Heist costume, we decided to continue doing what we have started as it has become our distinct character,” he said.

“Apart from giving them the food packs, we also try to lift up their spirits by wearing the costume as it brings a little comic relief to the situation,” he added.

DM Prime through Del Magnificos, and members of fraternity group Tau Gamma Phi, plan to continue various relief efforts as part of its CSR program and lend a hand to the local government in helping different communities in this city and other areas of the country.
