Garcia said it will be a 3-floor hospital of 73-bed capacity that will provide general medicine, laboratory tests, operating and delivery services as well as support services.

Located in the first floor are the emergency and outpatient sections, pharmacy and operating and delivery rooms. Radiology, laboratory and administrative offices will be at the second floor while bed wards and isolation room in the third floor.

Each floor has an area of 1,500 square meters. Site preparation and construction of the first floor was funded for P50 million while the amount of P100 million was earmarked for the construction of the second and third floors.

Garcia said the hospital, long desired by villagers, will be a big help to the residents of the mountain town which is more than 50 kilometers from Balanga City where most hospitals are located.

Gov. Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia 3rd thanked Villanueva and all those responsible for the project.
