Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on September 14, 2022 personally delivers the free shoes, tshirts, and bags with school supplies to 912 public school students from Abelardo G. Tinio Elementary School.
Joining Mayor Lazatin during the distribution are Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, Executive Assistant V Raffy Angeles, City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, Alex Indiongco, Dan Lacson, Raco Del Rosario, JC Aguas, Jay Sangil, Crisanto Cortez, and Marino Bañola.
The distribution of items to the other public schools and day care centers will follow suit.
Around 100,000 pairs of free shoes, t-shirts, bags, and school supplies will be personally delivered by Mayor Lazatin to the 53 public schools and 76 day care centers via schedule.
With the supervision of Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, members of the Gender and Development Office, City Nutrition Office, Angeles City Emergency Command Center, General Services Office, and City Engineer’s Office join and assist Mayor Lazatin in the set distribution.
One of the inauguration promises of Mayor Lazatin is to provide quality and accessible education, saying “No Angeleño youth will be left behind in terms of education.”
