BALANGA CITY — The provincial disaster risk reduction and management office
reported that no one was hurt and no major damage was left in Bataan by the 7.3
magnitude earthquake in Abra Wednesday morning.
Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia who is PDRRMO chair said the agency was in continuous
monitoring for whatever aftershocks or additional damage relative to the incident
that was also felt in Bataan.
“Mananatiling nakaalerto ang pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Bataan katulong ang
mga city disaster risk reduction and management office ng Balanga City at
municipal disaster risk reduction and management office ng 11 bayan upang
bantayan at tumugon sa pangangailangan ng lalawigan,” the governor said.
PDRRMO report showed that of the 11 towns and one city, only the municipal hall
of the town of Hermosa incurred minor cracks that were being monitored per
report of the municipal engineer’s office.
