Din Tai Fung is celebrating ten delicious years in the Philippines with its 10th shop in SM City Clark, just in time to join the Aldo Ning Kapampangan feast.

The world-famous Taiwanese xiaolongbao brand arrives at SM City Clark and adds another steaming reason why Pampanga remains the country’s ultimate culinary haven.

The Moment Group brings the beloved Taiwanese icon to mark a flavorful milestone in Northern Luzon. Filipinos have been head over bowls for Din Tai Fung since its first Philippine shop opened in SM Megamall in 2015, where eager diners lined up like soup waiting to burst from a dumpling. The brand continued to rise like perfectly steamed dough as it expanded to Cebu in 2025, drawing waiting times longer than a noodle pull.

Now, the north gets its turn.
“We have always focused on Metro Manila for most of our first decade” shares Moment founder Abba Napa. “Seeing diners from different regions embrace Din Tai Fung gives us the confidence to explore places we only imagined before.”

In SM City Clark, guests can enjoy the full Din Tai Fung experience. The open XLB Kitchen lets diners watch shifus handcraft each xiaolongbao with eighteen delicate folds. Interiors blend warm wood and the brand’s iconic crimson tiles to create a welcoming space with 158 seats for hungry fans ready for soupy surprises.

“We are wrapping up our 10th year with our 10th shop” says Moment founder Eliza Antonino. “It is heartwarming to see how diners continue to love Din Tai Fung as much as they did on Day 1. We look forward to bringing the brand to more cities in the Philippines.”

From its beginnings as a simple cooking oil shop in Taiwan in the 1950s to becoming a global dumpling legend, Din Tai Fung has grown into a culinary star with 179 shops in 15 countries. Its Xinyi Road shop in Taipei has earned global praise, and its signature dumplings have been hailed as “The World’s Greatest” and even “small miracles.”

With its debut in the province, Din Tai Fung enriches Pampanga’s renowned food landscape. It is a fitting treat for Aldo Ning Kapampangan and a delicious new chapter for diners who know that life tastes better with good food, warm service and a little soup in every bite.
