Mayor Edwin D. Santiago meets fellow local chief executives including Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora during the Orientation Course on Priming Leaders for Effective Local Governance held in Manila from July 8 to 10.
Organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the three-day activity was aimed at enhancing the competencies of newly elected and re-elected local chief executives, vice governors, vice mayors, and members of the Sanggunian in carrying their new tasks as leaders in community development while promoting peace and resilience towards inclusive and sustainable development.
