Jose also said the new Deuter concept store breathes the similar design elements as that of Deuter SM Mall of Asia – “very outdoorsy, freewheeling, simple, straight-to-the-point, very relatable and suggesting the nostalgia of adventure.”
According to its President-CEO Chris T. Tang, Deuter Philippines received the coveted German Lion of Bavaria award for the local company’s “360 degree marketing campaign for the 30 years of Aircomfort” at the recent Deuter Sales Conference held in Taichung, Taiwan.
Tang said this was realized “via the very dynamic store and window displays, events and activities, endorsements and sponsorships, social media efforts and advertising, and sales.”
During the store opening, members of the local media tried to carry at least 10-kilogram loads and were amazed at the Deuter backpack’s ergonomic design which distributes the weight of the load to the hipbone which significantly removes the stress from the shoulders.
“I want a backpack! We will answer you back with ‘What for?’ Because we want you to have the best backpack that will fit you and your lifestyle, your want and your need. That is why we have created a Fit Center in every Deuter Concept store that will cater to each and every Deuter enthusiast,” said Jose.
Deuter is a German brand with its factory located in Vietnam supervised by German experts, it was learned. Deuter’s concept store is located at the ground floor, west wing of SM City Clark near Chris Sports.
