(DEPED ISO CERTIFIED. Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago delivers his opening message during the Awarding Ceremony of the DepEd ISO 9001:2015 certification on August 24, 2018.)

The Department of Education Schools Division Office of the City of San Fernando receives International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification validated and confirmed by the DQS Philippines during the Certification Awarding Ceremony on August 24, 2018.

DepEd-SDO was recognized because of its commitment in implementing effective and efficient processes that focused on the customer satisfaction and its programs were aligned in global standardization.

According to Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ronnie Mallari, this was the first time that the DepEd-SDO received an ISO certification.

He furthered that this recognition will serve as an inspiration for them to do better in providing good quality of education.

For his part, Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago lauded the DepEd personnel for their efforts and sacrifices, and for always aiming excellence.

Santiago also added that the City Government is always willing to support the DepEd’s plans and programs since education is the administration’s top priority.

Also present during the event was DepEd Region 3 Director Beatriz G. Torno.
