Dialysis center in Apalit.
So, spoke Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda as he announced Wednesday in his social media page: “Tapos na po ang dalawang gusali na magiging puesto ng kauna-unahang dialysis centers na mismo ang provincial government ng Pampanga ang magpapatakbo.”
Quality renal care administered by the provincial government had been a long cherished dream for the Capampangans of then-governor now Vice Gov. Lilia G “Nanay” Pineda.
“Ang una po ay nasa Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Provincial Hospital sa Barangay San Matias, Guagua. Ang ikalawa po ay sa San Vicente, Apalit,” said the governor of the dialysis centers built by the Department of Public Works and Highways with funding of P30 million each from the AnaKalusugan Partylist.
The dialysis centers are expected to start operation before the end of 2022.
With the first two centers sited in the second district – Guagua, and the fourth district – Apalit, two more of their kind are planned for the first and third districts.
