CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda said Monday he will further
strengthen the socio-economic development in the province in his second term to
help more Kapampangans, especially those who belong to the vulnerable sector.
This was gleaned from the governor’s address at the inaugural session of the
sangguniang panlalawigan at the New Legislative Building, Capitol Compound

Pimeda said his administration will focus on implementing his 12-point
development agenda, comprising: enhancing food security in the province;
enhancing health services towards a comprehensive, responsive, and resilient
provincial health system; expanding educational assistance and support to
Kapampangan students; providing responsive and inclusive social services for the
marginalized; strengthening support programs for the private sector for effective
economic recovery; ensuring appropriate training and employment opportunities
for the labor force; boosting of tourism promotion and development; advancing
disaster and climate change resilience and environment preservation for resilient
Kapampangan communities; upholding peace, order, and security for safe
communities; promoting youth development by engaging and empowering young
Kapampangans; accelerating digital transformation in the province; and advancing
participatory, responsive, and accountable governance.

“Ipagpapatuloy at mas paiigtingin pa po natin itong ating mga nasimulang
programa, lalo na ang mga pangkalusugan at pang-agrikultura,” said the governor,
adding that he aspires to have a more advanced health system that can deal with
emerging new viruses and diseases; and an affordable and sufficient food supply
in the province that may also benefit local food producers.
He will also continue to reach out to various sectors that were gravely affected by
calamities that struck the province.

“Patuloy tayo sa pagbibigay ng iba’t-ibang assistance, gaya ng medical, relief,
food, cash, at educational assistance, lalo na sa ating mga marginalized, at
sectoral groups tulad ng senior citizens, centenarians, PWDs, IPs, solo parents,
children, scavengers, coastal at upland communities, at iba pa,” he said.
The governor will also strengthen ties with the business and labor sectors in order
to hasten the recovery of the province from the economic fallout caused by the
Covid-19 pandemic.

He urged the Kapampangans to help and support his administration as he believes

that cooperation and unity among stakeholders will boost the province’s ability to
move forward in terms
