Delta inaugurates Capitol-funded barangay facilities

APALIT, Pampanga – Funded by the provincial government and after nine months of construction, a multi-purpose hall and covered court were blessed and inaugurated in Barangay Balucuc here on Nov. 7
Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda formally opened the two facilities along with Mayor Jun Tetangco, Vice Mayor Peter Nucom, members of the sangguniang bayan, Balucuc chairman Joseph Dela Cruz. The new structures are expected to serve as vital venues for community gatherings, public services, and disaster response operations.

Pineda announced that the Provincial Government of Pampanga allocated ₱8.56 million for the construction of the covered court and ₱3.97 million for the multi-purpose hall. He also expressed gratitude to the Ponce Family, who generously donated the land on which the new buildings stand, underscoring their contribution to the progress and unity of Barangay Balucuc.

 

The vice governor cited the facilities as a reaffirmation of the provincial government’s commitment to community development and announced plans for the construction of a barangay health center to provide more accessible medical services for local residents.

As part of the day’s activities, the Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program conducted a blood extraction activity and distributed free maintenance medicines to residents, reinforcing the provincial government’s mission to promote preventive healthcare and community well-being.

Also present at the event were 4th District board members Dr. Kaye Naguit and Vince Calara, Pineda’s chief of staff Angie Blanco, and municipal administrator Glenn Danting.
