CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Pampanga Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) has commended Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda for outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment during his six-year tenure as council chairperson.

During the PPOC’s second quarterly meeting held Friday, May 23, at the Kingsborough International Convention Center here, Department of the Interior and Local Government-Pampanga director Myra Moral-Soriano presented a plaque of appreciation to the governor on behalf of the council.

The plaque cited Pineda’s “exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment as chairperson of the PPOC from 2019 to 2025,” recognizing his strategic guidance, consistent support for law enforcement and security agencies, and relentless pursuit of peace, order, and public safety that contributed significantly to Pampanga’s progress and stability.

In accepting the recognition, Pineda expressed gratitude to the council, crediting its members for the PPOC’s accomplishments.

“Lahat ng accomplishments ng PPOC, as well as PDRRMC, lahat po ‘yan ay dahil sa support ng buong council. Without their support, walang maa-accomplish ang council. Lahat po ito, ang council ang dapat pasalamatan dahil from the beginning since 2019, sumuporta po silang lahat sa akin,” he said.

He also took the opportunity to bid farewell to fellow council members, marking the meeting as his last as chairperson.

“Magpapaalam na po ako. First, isa pong malaking karangalan na makatrabaho ko kayo at makasama ko po kayo for almost six years sa PPOC.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. This will be my last POC meeting as chairperson, get ready sa next,” he said.

The governor also called on the council to extend the same support to incoming governor and outgoing Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, who is set to take over the PPOC leadership.
