Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda personally brought relief goods to the town of Tayum in quake-struck Abra province.
Per the governor’s request, the Pampanga sangguniang panlalawigan approved the provision of relief goods consisting of 20,000 food relief packs with 5 kilos of rice, 5 cans pf corned beef, and 5 cans of sardinas, as well as 20,000 5-gallon jerrycans for potable water.
Pineda also handed P2 million to the Abra provincial government, P500,000 to the town of La Paz, and P500,000 to the town of Lagangilang as assistance for the purchase of housing materials.
The Pineda family also donated 20,000 packs with 5 kilos of rice.
“Maraming salamat po at binigyan nyo kaming mga Kapampangan ng pagkakataon na dumamay,” the governor said during the turnover of the relief goods. “Sabi nga po ni Vice Governor Nanay, huwag po kayong mawawalan ng pag-asa at lakas ng loob.”
