ANGELES CITY- Four Pampanga towns are slated to be affected by power outages on Dec. 6 to give way for the “replacement of selected woodpoles and line hardwares along Hermosa- Guagua 69kV transmission line.”
In an advisory yesterday, Lilibeth Gaydowen, communications and public affairs officer of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said the power outage would last from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.
The areas to be affected are those covered by Pampanga Electric Cooperative II (PELCO II) and San Fernando Light and Power Corporation (SFELAPCO), specifically Guagua, Porac, Floridablanca and parts of Lubao, Pampanga.
“This is to enable us to replace selected woodpoles and line hardwares along Hermosa-Guagua 69kV transmission line,” Gaydowen said. She said, however, that “normal operations will immediately resume after work completion,” adding, “NGCP customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for
this scheduled interruption.”
