On na ang character ni Danita Paner sa Isang Dakot na Luha this week. “Nag-taping na ako as the grownup daughter of Alice Dixson at lumaki na ‘yung bata at naging ako,” pagkukuwento niya “This is my first drama soap.
Kasi yung una ko, ‘Basta Driver Sweet Lover’ with JC De Vera, is more of a comedy at yung next, ‘Bangis’ with Oyo Sotto, is more of action-adventure.
Dito, iyakan scenes talaga kasi nahiwalay kami ng mga kapatid ko from Alice Dixson, who’s my ninang in real life, and Jay Manalo, dahil kay Glydel Mercado, kaya ipinamigay ko ‘yung mga kapatid ko sa ibang tao.”
Ngayon at odds ang mommy niya with her manager na si Anabelle rama, di pa rin siya tumatalikod sa kanyang manager.
“Kasi she’s really been like a mother to me dito sa showbiz. I told my mom about it and she respects my decision.
Ako naman, kinausap ko si Tita Annabelle and told her whatever problems she has with mommy, labas na ako roon. Bata pa naman ako, away-bati na sila, so I know magkakaayos din sila soon.”
After JC and Oyo, she gets a new leading man in ‘Isang Dakot na Luha’, Edgar Allan Guzman. “Nagkasama na kami sa workshop for the show and we get along fine. Dun sa nervous breakdown scene ko na kailangan kong umiyak, magwala, maglupasay, he was there and he supported me.”
Maganda naman ang mga statements niya tungkol sa kanyang dating boyfriend na si JC De Vera, “I learned a lot from the experience kasi si JC, very disciplined when it comes to work so I got that from him.
I really value my work now. And dahil sa breakup, I can feel mas marami kong mapaghuhugutang emotions ngayon when I do drama scenes.”
