He also ordered the exemption of Clark locators from Bureau of Custom’s (BOC) Client Profile Registration System (CPRS).
Lina said Clark investors need not apply under BOC’s registration system. Instead, the Certificate of Registration or Tax Exemption would be issued only by the state-owned Clark Development Corp. (CDC).
Lina also said he would remove underguarding fees on import and export shipments, as well as fees bonds on imports.
Lina asked Clark Locators to clear their shipments in the Port of Manila on Fridays so that the shipments could be pulled out and delivered to Clark on Saturdays and Sundays. This will reduce port congestion in the Port of Manila, he noted.
Lina also said offices of BOC at Clark and BOC Subic would remain open on Saturdays.
