CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – “At long last, maaayos at mapapaganda na ang daan namin dito sa San Nicolas…maiiwasan na ang pagbaha, wala na ring madudulas.” So exclaimed Tany David, a resident of Sitio Bulusan, Barangay San Nicolas here as Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda led the led the groundbreaking ceremony for the improvement and concreting of their barangay road last Jan. 25.
Vice Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, board member Ananias Canlas Jr., and former board member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab joined the governor at the event.
A total of ₱3,980,566.14 has been allocated for the project expected to be completed by May.
According to Provincial Engineer Noli Pangan, the project will elevate the road by an average of 60 centimeters and cover a length of 204.7 linear meters. This initiative is part of Governor Delta’s ongoing efforts to uplift the lives of Kapampangans through improved infrastructure and disaster resilience.
Also present during the groundbreaking were Special Assistant to the Governor Angelina Blanco, Provincial Engineer Noli Pangan, city councilors Rose Calimlim, Ricky Hizon, and Rosalie Mendoza and San Nicolas barangay captain Jerwin Sembrano. Pampanga PIO
