In a TV interview with Boy Abunda, she confessed that she cried when Ali proposed marriage to her and did it on a spur of the moment without him even having an engagement ring for her. “Nag-uusap lang kami nang medyo malalim then suddenly bigla niyang sinabi, ‘Will you marry me?’” says Cristine. “Siyempre, tuwangtuwa ako. From morning to night, umiiyak ako and it sunk in me the next day na.”
She adds that it’s in Ali that she found the love she’d been longing for. “He filled up the emptiness in my heart when he came into my life,” she declares.

Another actress now officially engaged is Annamarie Falcon aka Francine Prieto. She is now ready to face the altar with an American biologist named Frank Shotkoski.They were introduced to each other by a common friend in December of last year. They’ve been going steady for eight months now.
Recently, Francine posted in her social media account a photo of her engagement ring and wrote: “I’m engaged!!! Purple is a color for the adventurous heart with spiritual leanings and a flair for drama.”
