SUBIC BAY FREEPORT— Five guests and three residents – all foreign nationals – in this freeport including two minors were the latest confirmed cases of Covid-19.
This, per the SBMA Covid Update No. 27 issued by SBMA chair and administrator Wilma Eisma.
The three residents – a 37-year-old male and two minors, a 7-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl – who were exposed to a relative/housemate all tested positive on Sept. 27, and presently asymptomatic and are under home quarantine.
The five guests – males aged 32, 43, and 63, and females aged 25 and 25 – tested tested positive of Covide-19 after one of them developed symptoms.
Contact tracing has been initiated and all patients are under monitoring by the Bureau of Quarantine.
A 45-year-old male SBMA employee also tested positive. He had close contact with a Covid patient on Sept. 25 and has been quarantined at the isolation facility in Iba, Zambales.
