IBA, Zambales — Even as most of the towns in this province have enjoyed zero positive Covid-19 for almost a month, a new case listed Sunday, the 27th confirmed in the tabulation chart of the provincial health office.
The new Covid-19 positive patient is a 41–year–old male from San Marcelino, a neighboring town of San Narciso that had a confirmed positive patient the other day and was listed as No. 26 in the chart.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health officer, said that the latest patient went to Manila last June 5 and 15 for his physical and medical examination.
The patient then experienced loose bowel movement and was found to be suffering from hypertension.
On June 18, a specimen was extracted for testing, with the result released on June 19 by the Detoxicare Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory that he was positive of Covid-19.
The patient is now admitted at the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital for treatment.
