Covid-19 in NE: Cases stay at 42 in last 3 days

CABANATUAN CITY – Novo Ecijanos are keeping their fingers crossed, praying that the number of confirmed Covid-19 positive cases that stayed at 42 in the last three days will no longer increase as the Nueva Ecija Inter-Agency Task Force has yet to receive test results of 124 persons.

“God is working for us! Keep on praying Novo Ecijano. Praise You, Lord,” said a netizen upon knowing that the incident of confirmed cases stays.

“Thanks be to God! May God’s healing Mercy be unto those who are affected and sick,” another resident commented.

Noticeably, more netizens from this province are airing appeal to others to stay home and follow protocols under the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantineinstead of hate posts.

A report from the NEIATF showed the number of patients who have fully recovered from Covid-19 also remained at 15 and deaths at 3 as of Wednesday afternoon.

Of the 694 suspected cases, 451 were already examined, 89 were admitted, 124 were discharged from the hospital and 30 have died.

The NEIATF noted the increased of suspects who tested negative with 325. Some 194 persons have yet to undergo testing.
