CABANATUAN CITY – Nueva Ecija now has only six active cases of the coronavirus disease out of the 65 tallied. This, after six patients were reported to have recovered as of Thursday night.
Of the active cases, two are admitted in local hospitals and four are undergoing quarantine in different facilities at the National Capital Region, according to the province’s inter-agency task force.
“Let us continue praying for all our patients and their families,” said Fr. Arnold Abelardo, task forcespokesperson.
Among the latest recoveries were Patient 43, a 29-year-old woman from Barangay Sumacab Este here; Patient 51, a 34-year-old woman of Manggang Marikit, Guimba; Patient 57, a 49-year-old locomotive operator of Barangay Liberty, Pantabangan; Patient 59, a 25-year-old architect from Pantoc, Zaragoza; Patient 60, a 27-year-old overseas worker of Caanawan, San Jose City; and Patient 62, a 34-year-old man from San Mariano San Antonio.
This brought to 56 the total number of recoveries in Nueva Ecija.
Abelardo said the data was confirmed by the Department of Health.
Three of the confirmed infection cases died in the early period of the pandemic.
